Playing with the ball at their feet and scoring goals are the central reasons why so many children and young people enjoy football.
The new forms of play should give all children on the pitch as often as possible the chance to have the ball at their own feet, to have their own actions, to score goals and thus to get a personal sense of achievement.
For this reason, smaller teams, a lot of variety and, in some cases, four goals are the order of the day. This should not only promote the individual sporting development of the children and young people, but should also strengthen the whole of soccer and its clubs at grassroots level.
